New Years Eve 2011

Once again, Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos put on a great show for a great crowd!

This year was a blast! We were blessed with fantastic weather that allowed many to travel and have a good time for NYE!

Cedar Shore had great specials and buffet offered in the Bridges Restaurant for those attending the show, or for those that just came to enjoy a good and relaxed meal/evening on New Years.

We hope 2012 will bring us the same great crowd, and the same great weather! Cheers to all of you in the year 2012!

Surviving the Flood 2011

Well along with many other businesses and homes, Cedar Shore survived the flood!

With the high water, it was difficult to watch a few of our campground sites disappear under water, our marina taking boats out, and the breakwater, walk ramps to the marina, sidewalks, roads and parking lot being swallowed up by water.

However, with several days of clean-up, we are looking back with confidence knowing that we survived and are grateful that Cedar Shore could still run successful business. We thank all the staff and community volunteers that helped us prepare and sandbag areas around the Resort.

2011 Weddings

This year's highlight was a wedding that was from our own Cedar Shore family! We were happy to see Jenny and Brock DuFrain tie the knot and throw a great party afterwards to celebrate in the Bridges Conference Center!

We remained busy with several weddings in 2011. We still continue to do outdoor weddings overlooking the beautiful Missouri River and we always love to see all the diversity in wedding ideas/decorations that come during the year.

In 2012, we have even more weddings than last year, showing that we have 19 weddings booked! We are very excited and still have a couple openings for those that still need to book a venue!

Congrats to those that were married in 2011, and best wishes to all of the engaged couples preparing for the big day in 2012!

Congrats to the Ripperda's for winning the 2011 Family Cup! Looking forward to what 2012 will bring!

Adult Prom 2011 - An Evening in Paris

Photo of King & Queen

Adult prom is a great way for us to help the Junior Class Prom and a scholarship fund! It proved to be a great year with several couples participating in all sorts of attire.

With all the great people involved, those that participate can rock their outfits with social hour, photos, appetizers and prom dance. With no jeans allowed, it makes it great entertainment for those attending the grand march to see what everyone comes styled in!

Congrats to Riley Miller for winning the $500 scholarship presented by Cedar Shore and the Adult Prom committee!

In 2012, Adult Prom has the theme of Hollywood Red Carpet. Come participate on March 3. Buy your tickets today!

Kids Fishing Clinic 2011

Our Mission is Fishin'....

We had a blast hanging out with all the kids, and allowing them to participate in a free two hour fishing education clinic.

Our clinic served as a basis on the differences of rods and reels, different types of lines, hooks, bobbers, live & plastic baits, crank baits, tie knots and casting! The kids all had fun learning how to tie knots and spending time out on the lawn practicing their casting skills.
